Flat Roof Waterproofing & Reseal in Dún Laoghaire
Pooling water and visible surface wear showed that this Dún Laoghaire flat roof needed attention before winter. We completed a full reseal, including the roof surface, edges and wall junctions, to restore continuous waterproof protection.
What needed attention
Water was pooling in one corner of this Dún Laoghaire flat roof, while the existing surface showed clear signs of wear. With winter approaching, the roof needed more than isolated touch-ups: the waterproofing required a complete reseal. Pooling water and failed seals should be addressed early because ongoing moisture can eventually lead to damage inside the property.
How we approached it
We prepared the full flat-roof surface and completed a continuous waterproof reseal across the main roof area. The treatment was carried into the perimeter edges, wall junctions and upstands so the vulnerable details were included rather than leaving isolated sections untreated.
The finished work
The roof now has a continuous grey waterproof finish across the surface and its key junctions. The completed photographs show a clean, fully resealed flat roof prepared for the wet and changeable conditions of an Irish winter.
